new: BYOM (Bring Your Own Modem) Registration Process 4/2/10

Purpose: To inform agents of new customer with unsupported BYOM (Bring Your Own Modem) registration process.

Details: Starting April 2, 2010 AT&T will inform new customers with BYOM devices that they will need to register. If the customer has internet access the installation instructions will be posted at www.att.com/installDSL which will provide the required information to set up BYOM modem for activation.

If customer calls and is not registered provide them with the following information so they can complete their registration;

• The online Vanity URL http://www.att.com/installdsl
• VPI 8
• VCI 35
• Registration URL: helpme.att.net/register
• Temporary User Name: attreg@att.net
• Temporary Password: attreg
